Our Philosophy
Our objective is to provide exclusive and current information and updates, high quality products and reliable
services for all Paris Black fans. With this in mind, bringing fans together as a whole in celebrating a favorite artist --
Paris Black.
Our Devotion
We have been interested in working with the fans and for the fans for many years. We are exited to
finally have reached that goal. Taking our commitments to the internet and world wide web makes the process much more thrilling.
Our devotion is our reason, it's a dedication, the motivation and inspiration and much much more. We simply are here for the
Paris Black fans who feel the same way. This is not merely a fan club...it is the fans' club.
Here's a little personal note from the two presidents of the PARIS BLACK fan club. They want to share a
little of their background they've experienced with the fan club with all the fans.
Amina: How did this all start? Actually, it was way before I became a part of the big picture. There was already a fan club.
(I believe there was another fan club he had before that one.)
It was in 1993 when I had become the vice-president
of the fan club we had named PB+F (Paris Black and Fans). We made signs (fan posters) to display during his concerts. We also
informed fans of new concerts and performances. I tried once to get his video played on MuchMusic and it worked.
Now here we are on the net, taking us all
over the world! It’s making things interesting, fascinating and fun. The idea to build a website for the fans was mine
alone. I have written all the text so far, on this website myself (excluding the articles and lyrics). Some of the pictures
are also from my collection.
Bronwen:
She has played a major part in all of this.She has been around for
some time, way before me. She was in one of his videos –Better Get Ready—the second one. That was back in March
26, 1988. They had met even before that. She was in charge of the fan club when I had joined and she still is to this very
day. She will be the one in charge of the fan club details, once it’s back up and running on the website (as well as
offline). She has helped by lending me her negatives and photos to add on. She carries the history we need at PBf.
